Wines, Wars, & Wonders
Our three-day wine and culinary excursion visits some of the most important wine and food regions in Israel: the Galilee and the Golan Heights. Some of the best flavors woven into Israeli cuisine come from the Druze and Arab kitchens across the land, and the Lebanese and Syrian influences in this region are not to be missed.
Three days together will leave you plenty full, yet still wanting more, as we bring together the best food, wine, scenic lookouts, and delightful stops along the way to relish the flavors of Israel’s north.
We invite you to taste some of the best olive oil at the Rish Lekish olive oil farm, raise a glass with remarkable vintners, walk among grape vines and vineyards, taste your way through the brilliant Druze culinary scene, and simply let your palate be the judge.
Perhaps you would like to add a cooking workshop to your tour, or possibly a bit of foraging along the way. We are happy to adjust and accommodate as best we can in order to craft the perfect tour for our guests.
Because of the geopolitical challenges Israel faces in the region, along with the opportunities for a brighter future ahead, we seek to mix in a touch of the military and political landscape to add meaningful food for thought to the tour.
This tour is a favorite of ours because it allows us to bring guests to the far north, where some of Israel’s best-kept secrets are hidden. We have woven together the ultimate route, allowing guests to overnight in our favorite mountain village of Rosh Pina, overlooking the Hula Valley and the wonders of northern Israel.
